Foxy Dogs Dog Group Training classes are unique , they are not just loose lead and recall lessons like most group training classes. These behavrioural elements are certainly included but I also introduce concept training into the mix. Concept training is the ability to strengthen dogs emotional stability and emotional coping abilities such as calmness, confidence, thinking in arousal, coping with novelty and building optimism, independence and engagement (click here for information about concept training).
Complete the form below and tell me about 2 current struggles your dog is experiencing (if any) and I create exercises specifically to help you address these struggles which you do in class - think of it like a one-on-one consult but in a group setting, where each dogs individual needs are met. This essentially means that the training content of each term changes all the time, they are not ‘rinse and repeat’.
The very first class will be dog free so we can talk about class content and what to expect, training mechanics, general dog information, the differences between behaviour and concept training and benefits of concept training. It’s a great opportunity for you to get to know each other, learn off each other and ask lots of questions. Classes are held at Beecroft Park, City Beach and Holyrood Park, West Leederville.
Maximum class numbers of 6 participants, no minimum participants required for classes to run, however classes that have no registrations will be cancelled 2 weeks before their start date - so if you are interested in a class, get your registration in before then!
